Educational purpose

Mr. B's Word Lab provides supplemental reading instruction and practice. Students may use the activities independently or under the direction of a parent, educator, tutor, or other support professional.

The activities and checkups are instructional tools. They are not standardized assessments, diagnostic instruments, special education evaluations, medical advice, or substitutes for professional judgment.

Permitted classroom use

Individual educators may access, display, and use the website's activities with students they directly teach or support. Educators may print results, plans, or attendance exports when a feature provides that option.

Ownership and restrictions

Unless otherwise identified, the original text, activities, graphics, branding, page designs, and source code on this website are owned by Mikael Barnheart and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, translate, scrape, frame, distribute, license, or sell substantial portions of the website or its materials without prior written permission. You may not remove ownership notices or present the materials as your own. These restrictions do not limit uses permitted by applicable law.

Appropriate use

Do not attempt to disrupt the website, gain unauthorized access, introduce harmful code, or use the activities in a way that violates law or the rights of another person. Teachers should avoid entering full student names or sensitive information into device-only notes and should use only school-approved identifiers in the attendance roster.

Availability and accuracy

The site is provided as available for educational support. Activities may be revised, added, or removed. Reasonable care is taken when developing the materials, but uninterrupted availability or complete freedom from errors cannot be guaranteed.
